Description
These cowl ventilators are made of silicone.
Silicone rubber is a very flexible synthetic material with a service temperature range between -100°C and +200°C.
It is resistant to UV light so does not discolour.
The CHINOOK, SAMOEN & TRAMON ventilators are removable and can be rotated by loosening the base ring by hand.
The ring nuts and mating deck flanges are made of hard plastic and the internal colour is red.
A Monel mosquito screen and a stainless steel (AISI 216) cover plate for closing off the cowl can be supplied as an option.
The style “TRAMONS version has a screwed down fixed synthetic ring.
