The Whale® Gusher Urchin hand-operated flush pump has been designed with 1″ inlet and outlet ports (one straight, one at a 90° angle) and is typically mounted in recirculating flush portable toilets or on boats for use as a bilge pump. This pump can be recognized by its light blue clamping ring.

The complete “underdeck” pump is equipped with a nitrile diaphragm to enhance performance with chemical additives used in portable toilets. A mounting deckplate for the toilet tank lid is included, along with fixing screws to secure the pump to the deckplate and a rubber gaiter to seal around the handle. Specifically developed for the portable toilet industry, this pump is identified as Whale® Part ND9017B.”
